V GUARD INDUSTRIES share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 244.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 18,943 (down 1.0%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today are V GUARD INDUSTRIES (up 5.2%) and GRAPHITE INDIA (up 5.3%).

ABB INDIA (down 0.1%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA LTD (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,266 to 38,941, registering a gain of 2,675 points (up 7.2%).

V GUARD INDUSTRIES Financial Update…

V GUARD INDUSTRIES net profit stood at Rs 592 million for the quarter ended March 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 337 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 24.5% to Rs 7.4 billion during the period as against Rs 5.9 billion in January-March 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, V GUARD INDUSTRIES reported 6.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 1.4 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.4 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 10.5% to Rs 23 billion during FY18.
